Avaelie Hebden Bridge

Welcome to Avaelie Hebden Bridge

Come spend some time with us. Our two cottages, Avaelie House and Avaelie Too, are both well-appointed 2 bedroom townhouses on quiet streets but just an easy 5 minute walk from the town centre. Both properties have private parking (a rarity in Hebden Bridge, especially this close the centre) so, unlike many other holiday homes, you can be sure you'll get a parking space.

Hebden Bridge is a bustling and vibrant former mill town, now home to unique and independent shops, a thriving art scene, and more bars, cafes, restaurants, coffee shops and pubs than you'd ever expect in a town this size.

Hebden Bridge is the semi-fictionalised setting of the TV show Happy Valley, the birthplace of Poet Laureate Ted Hughes, and we've been awarded "Best Small Outdoor Market" by NABMA and "Great British High Street Award", declared "The best place to live in the UK" by SAS Analytics, called "Yorkshire's Culinary Capital" by National Geographic, and "the fourth funkiest town in the world" by British Airways.
